- 10:10 war eine internationale Non-Profit-Klimaschutz-Kampagne, die ab dem Jahr 2010 eine Reduktion des klimaschädlichen Kohlenstoffdioxid-Ausstoßes (CO2) um jährlich 10 % erreichen wollte. Allerdings wurde im November 2010 ein Anstieg der Emission um mehr als drei Prozent erwartet. Den Organisatoren zufolge sollte die Kampagne im Jahr 2011 trotzdem weitergeführt werden. 10:10 versteht sich als „offene Kampagne“, an der sowohl Privatpersonen wie auch Bildungseinrichtungen, Organisationen und Unternehmen mitwirken können. Langfristiges Ziel ist die dauerhafte globale Emissionsreduzierung. Die Aktion soll, laut den Initiatoren, „keine moralischen, sozialen oder politischen Ziele“ verfolgen. El proyecto buscó el apoyo público para presionar al gobierno a hacer reducciones en sus emisiones de contaminantes, e influir en la Conferencia sobre el Cambio Climático de la ONU 2009 de diciembre del mismo año. El movimiento poseyó varios partidarios británicos, como el primer ministro Gordon Brown y sus opositores David Cameron y Nick Clegg, empresas incluso Microsoft UK [RE], el servicio postal Royal Mail y ferretería , universidades, famosos y 35.000 personas miembros del público. El movimiento fue fundado por Franny Armstrong, la activista medioambiental y directora de películas, en septiembre de 2009. La organización tiene planes de lanzar la campaña a nivel internacional para 2011, llamándose 10:11. (es)

Alle leden van het Britse kabinet spraken de intentie uit hun persoonlijke energieverbruik met 10% te verminderen. In Nederland werd de campagne ondersteund door een quizprogramma dat op 10 oktober 2010 (10-10-10) door de VARA op Nederland 1 werd uitgezonden. Het programma, , werd gepresenteerd door Jeroen Pauw en Menno Bentveld en had een panel met onder andere Pierre Wind, Piet Paulusma, Prem Radhakishun (Vlees, vlees, vlees!) en Arthur Japin (hoogste score onder de BN'ers).
