- Yannick Jauzion, né le 28 juillet 1978 à Castres plus précisément à Vénès, est un joueur de rugby à XV français. Il joue en équipe de France et évolue au poste de centre au sein de l'effectif du Stade toulousain. Il a d'abord joué à Graulhet, entraîné par Robert Bousquet, puis après quatre saisons à Colomiers où il a découvert le haut niveau, il est arrivé au Stade toulousain où il montre pleinement son talent. Ingénieur diplômé de l'École d'ingénieurs de Purpan à Toulouse, mesurant 1 m 93 pour 106 kg, il possède une excellente technique et une bonne vision du jeu qui lui permettent de pouvoir créer le danger à tout moment. Il a été désigné meilleur international français en 2004 et 2005 et meilleur joueur du Top 16 en 2005, par ses pairs lors des première et seconde éditions des Nuits du Rugby. Il a aussi décroché l'Oscar du Midi olympique en 2005 du meilleur joueur français du championnat. Certains le prétendent « envié » par les All Blacks qui voient en lui le remplaçant idéal à l'ancien capitaine Tana Umaga. Il a été nommé dans la meilleure équipe du monde par les journalistes britanniques en 2005. Son jeu très caractéristique en fait la plaque tournante et l'élément essentiel du Stade toulousain et de l'Équipe de France. Il marque l'un des essais de la victoire contre les All Blacks le 6 octobre lors du quart de finale de la coupe du monde 2007.
