It is bordered by Gampo-eup and Sea of Japan (East Sea) on the east, Yangnam-myeon on the south, Bulguk-dong, Bodeok-dong and Oedong-eup on the west and Ocheon-eup and Janggi-myeon of the Pohang city on the north.
