- Die World Digital Library, auf Deutsch „Digitale Weltbibliothek“, ist ein Projekt der US-Nationalbibliothek Library of Congress und der UNESCO. Die World Digital Library stellt kulturell herausragende Dokumente aus aller Welt über das Internet kostenlos und für jedermann zur Verfügung.

It aims to expand non-English and non-western content on the Internet, and contribute to scholarly research. The library intends to make available on the Internet, free of charge and in multilingual format, significant primary materials from cultures around the world, including manuscripts, maps, rare books, musical scores, recordings, films, prints, photographs, architectural drawings, and other significant cultural materials. At launch, the library had 1,236 items. As of January 2011, it has 1,350 items.

La Biblioteca Digital Mundial fue inaugurada el 21 de abril de 2009 en la sede de la UNESCO de París, Francia.
