WinSCP is also available as a plugin for two file managers, FAR and Altap Salamander. It is popular among the iPhone Jailbreak community as a way of transferring data to and from the device. Since version 4.2.2 beta, starting the WinSCP installation package sends information about the user's geo-location, operating system and language to OpenCandy without asking for prior consent.
