William Inwood (c.1771–1843) was an English architect, surveyor and writer on architecture. Among his writings are Tables for the Purchasing of Estates (first published 1811; frequently republished).

- William Inwood (c.1771–1843) was an English architect, surveyor and writer on architecture. Among his writings are Tables for the Purchasing of Estates (first published 1811; frequently republished). His three sons - Charles Frederick (1799–1840), designer of the Church of All Saints, Marlow, Bucks (1832–5); Edward (1802–40); and Henry William (1794–1843) - were all architects, though William collaborated most particularly with Henry William on a large number of barracks, warehouses, houses and churches. These churches included the classical St Pancras New Church (1819), All Saints, Camden Town (1822–4), and St Peter's, Regent Square (1822–5, now demolished), and the Gothic St Mary's Chapel, Somers Town (1824–7).
