Two shaped picture discs were issued in 1984 and 1985, the only difference being a plain clear sleeve on the later version. In Monterrey, Mexico, the music video tied to this song was played at the start of each broadcast day on Channel 12, minutes before the beginning of the show ¡Mira Qué Bonito! hosted by Romulo Lozano, Raul Salcedo "Cascarita" and Esperancita Berrones. There, the song topped the singles charts for a record breaking 99 weeks.
