Walter Mortimer Mirisch (born 8 November 1921) is an American film producer. In his long and successful motion picture career, Walter Mirisch has produced some of the industry’s finest and most memorable films. He is President and Executive Head of Production of The Mirisch Corporation, an independent filmmaking organization, which he formed in 1957 with his brothers, Marvin and Harold.

Die Produktionsfirma besaß einen Vertriebsvertrag mit der United Artists. Sein Sohn Lawrence Mirisch ist der Gründer der Mirisch Agency, die sich um Filmschaffende hinter der Kamera bemüht. Il est président du conseil d'administration et chef de production de la Mirisch Company, qu'il co-fonde avec ses frères Marvin Mirisch et Harold Mirisch en 1957. Dans l'industrie cinématographique, il est trois fois président de la Producers Guild of America et quatre fois président de l'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Il est également membre des conseils d'administration du Motion Picture and Television Fund, du Centre médical Cedars-Sinai et de la Fondation de l'UCLA. En 2004, le Musée d'art du comté de Los Angeles lui consacre, ainsi qu'à ses frères, une rétrospective intitulée The Magnificent Mirisches.
