He taught that subject in his early years at the Andhra Christian Theological College in Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. He was a member of the Society for Biblical Studies in India, (SBSI), a Learned society, incorporating Biblical Scholars of the Protestant, Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Charismatic traditions and whose members research and study the Old and New Testaments. He was also elected as the office bearer of the SBSI. In the year 1972 he served as its Vice-President.
