Vaughan Savidge (born 1956) is a freelance newsreader and continuity announcer on BBC Radio 4, also working on the World Service and BBC Radio 3 and performing spoof news items on Armando Iannucci's Charm Offensive. Born in Luton he spent his early years travelling around Africa, Australia and Singapore. He returned to Britain and took up a job in television production in Gibraltar. After a spell working in Hong Kong he returned to London in 1996 where he joined Radio 4.
