Jörn-Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen ("Uwe") is a keyboard player and songwriter, known for his work with the German rock group Nena. Born in Berlin he first played in a band called "Odessa" in 1980 with bassist Jürgen Dehmel. The two joined Nena in 1981 and played with the group until 1987. When the band split, he moved to New York. There, he formed a band called VoodooX (as keyboard player and backing vocalist) with Jean Beauvoir (formerly of The Plasmatics and Little Steven's Disciples of Soul).

Uwe's brother Lutz, who is two years younger, also played with Nena, usually while touring. He has recently, since Nena's comeback with Nena feat. Nena, been helping Nena in her solo career. Many people think they are a great duo. In 2006 he produced part of singer Kim Wilde's comeback album Never Say Never, which reached the top 20 in most European contries.
