The band wrote, produced and mixed all their own music. They broke ground for a lot of electronic music, by being one of the first electronic "rave" acts to start playing live, and supported The Shamen, and then went onto support U2 live at 10 stadium shows. Utah Saints were also credited with contributing a lot to dance music culture through running clubs from 1988 to 1994, through the birth of rave music and culture, particularly "Rickys" and "The Gallery" (later the Pleasure Rooms). They booked many DJs who were starting at the time and went onto become worldwide successes, including Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, and in recent years, Justice, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe. They had five further UK Top 40 singles between 2000 and 2012, and currently continue to produce music, DJ in clubs and at festivals, promote nights, curate festival stages and write music for film.
