The duo released the album "Elegant Friction", as well as the single "The Chartist's Soul: The Remixes" under Marlboro's German record label, the aptly titled Marlboro Music. Though this incarnation of Urban Voodoo was virtually non-existent in the states, one single under the title "Brutality" was released on the official soundtrack for the film Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Urban Voodoo is now one of the many monikers of the techno/trance artist and producer, Fred Baker (born Frédéric De Backer). Baker has no known relation to the original lineup of the band, or their songs.
