Cuenta con más de 35.000 alumnos, 800 de ellos extranjeros, y ocho campus. La Universidad de Kent ofrece 32 programas diferentes de master y 18 de áreas de doctorado, organizados en tres unidades de postgrado. Situada en Kent, es muy popular entre los universitarios, que la votaron como su universidad londinense favorita en 2007. Sus alumnos disfrutan de múltiples actividades deportivas y culturales, asociaciones de alumnos, y servicios para estudiantes.
