In the following years Fiorenzuola started a slow decline which brought the club down to the Eccellenza. It currently plays in Serie D. Several Serie A players in the late 1990s and 2000s played for Fiorenzuola during its best years, including Italian football stars such as Luca Toni, Massimo Oddo and Flavio Roma.
