Uğur Uçar, born on May 9, 1987 in Istanbul,Turkey is a Turkish football player as Defender. He is currently playing for Galatasaray and the Turkish U21 National team.. Uğur is a product of the Galatasaray Youth Team. He made his first team debut in March 2004, just before his 17th birthday. He spent the 2006/07 season on loan at Kayserispor. Upon his return to Galatasaray in the 2007/08 season, Uğur quickly became the first choice right fullback.

Uğur is a product of the Galatasaray Youth Team. He made his first team debut in March 2004, just before his 17th birthday. He spent the 2006/07 season on loan at Kayserispor. Upon his return to Galatasaray in the 2007/08 season, Uğur quickly became the first choice right fullback. On February 18, 2008 playing against Konyaspor on an icy pitch, he injured his right knee (broken kneecap) and was ruled out for an uncertain time after having surgery on February 20, 2008. He was on the bench after 15 months during a game against Gençlerbirliği. Galatasaray won the game 2-1 with the goals of Harry Kewell and Barış Özbek
