Træna is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Husøy. Træna was separated from the municipality of Lurøy in 1872. The municipality consists of over one thousand small islands off the coast of Norway. Four of the islands are populated: Husøy, Selvær, Sanna, and Sandøy. Fishing is the economic mainstay of Træna. Connections to mainland Norway are by means of boat and ferry.

Sanna er den største øya, og på den finner man de karakteristiske Trænfjellene: Kjølen, Mjåtinden, Breidtinden og Trænstaven. Det sistnevnte er Trænas høyeste punkt, 338 moh. Hovednæringsveien i kommunen er fiske; det være seg kyst- og havfiske, oppdrett, salting/frysing og foredling. Kommunens største bedrift er Modolv Sjøset AS, som i høysesongen sysselsetter over 100 personer. Kommunen har to grunnskoler: Husøya skole (ca. 60 elever) og Selvær skole (ca. 10 elever). I tillegg har Saltdal videregående skole en filial (LOSA) på Husøya. Forsvaret er etablert med en radarstasjon på en av toppene på Sanna, og det var tidligere svært strenge regler for fotografering av fjellene på grunn av denne radaren. Tilgang til stasjonen var tidligere gjennom en taubane, men denne er nå nedlagt og erstattet med en tunnel gjennom fjellene. Træna har vært nevnt som mulig lokasjon for en signalforsterker for en fiberkabel fra Europa til Japan som planlegges lagt gjennom nordøstpassasjen. Træna er trolig mest kjent for den årlige Trænafestivalen. Den arrangeres i juli og tiltrekker seg over 2000 tilreisende hvert år.
