Townsville Street Circuit is a temporary street circuit located in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. On July 28 2008, the official V8 Supercar website reported that the Queensland Sports Minister, Judy Spence, said the State Government will contribute $2.5 million annually for the first five years of the event.
