A big fan of the Fox television show The X-Files, Fagenson was inspired to name the band Eve 6 after his favorite episode, "Eve". In the episode, there are many female clones named Eve; after Eve #6 made a remark about biting a guard's eyeball, he thought she was worthy of naming a band after. Tony is the son of the Grammy Award winning producer Don Was. After Eve 6 disbanded, Fagenson remained in the music industry as a producer. He worked with the band Malbec and contributed to the Puddle Of Mudd album Famous. Most noted is the Piano pieces on "We don't have to look back now. " In June, 2005 Fagenson rejoined former Eve 6 member Max Collins in the band The Sugi Tap. Together they played several small venues and released an EP. However, in 2007, Eve 6 reformed with the exception of guitarist Jon Siebels who was in another band at the time. Eve 6 are currently touring and they plan to release a new album in 2009.
