Tony D'Souza is an American novelist and short story writer. He has published two novels, Whiteman (2007) and The Konkans (2008). Whiteman garnered the Sue Kaufman Prize from The American Academy of Arts and Letters. His short fiction work and articles have appeared in The New Yorker, Playboy, Esquire, McSweeney's and Tin House. D'Souza was born and grew up in Chicago. He is of half Indian descent with a Mangalorean Catholic father and a Caucasian American mother.
