In 2005 he graduated from the Gallatin School at New York University. In 2006 he released Tommy Wallach, an album comprising ten original songs and a cover of the The Beatles' "Maxwell's Silver Hammer. " In January 2007 Wallach began a popular series of webcast performances of original songs and covers of songs by such artists as Ben Folds Five, White Town, and The Magnetic Fields. He has continued to frequently produce the webcast and was recently invited to record a video diary of the NAMM Show, the largest music product trade show in the world. In May 2008 Wallach won an online contest entitled "First Tracks: The Search for America's Best Musical Talent," co-sponsored by Decca Records and Gather. com. He recorded a 4-song EP for Decca in June 2008. The EP, also titled Tommy Wallach and released in December 2008, comprises three original songs and a cover of Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover. " Tommy's middle name is Winfield.
