Thomas William "Tom" Osborne (born February 23, 1937 in Hastings, Nebraska) is the Athletic Director at the University of Nebraska. He was the head coach of the Cornhuskers football team for 25 years, succeeding Bob Devaney. After coaching, Osborne was elected to Congress in 2000 and served six years in the United States House of Representatives as a Republican from Nebraska's 3rd congressional district.
