Tom Liwa (born Thomas Greiner, October 25, 1961) is a German singer-songwriter who has been performing as a solo artist in addition to being a founding member and frontman of the band Flowerpornoes. Liwa has cited Joni Mitchell's Hejira as one of his favourite albums and as a major musical influence, and has named Neil Young as an early idol. Tom Liwa is married to former fellow Flowerpornoes member Alexandra Gilles Videla, the couple has three children.

Zudem ist er seit Mitte der 90er als Solokünstler unterwegs und arbeitet an verschiedenen Projekten. Tom Liwa ist Vater von vier Kindern. Abgesehen von musikalischen Aktivitäten, hat Tom Liwa zwischen Mai 2006 und Herbst 2007 Meditationsseminare an verschiedenen Orten (unter anderem im Riesengebirge in Polen oder im Ammerland) geleitet. Die Spiritualität im Alltag entwickelte sich seit Anfang der 2000er Jahre zu Tom Liwas persönlichem Interesse, was sich insbesondere in seinen Werken aus dieser Zeit widerspiegelte. Ebenso gibt der Duisburger seit geraumer Zeit sein Wissen als Autor in Songschreibe-Workshops weiter. In letzter Zeit beschäftigt sich Liwa auch mit Prosa. Im März 2009 schloss er die Arbeit an seinem Erstlingswerk FIONN ab, ein dünnes Buch in 28 kurzen Kapiteln, aus dem er seither nach manchen Konzerten liest. Der Veröffentlichungstermin steht noch nicht fest.
