Its sister channel is Pop which was launched on May 29, 2003. Tiny Pop is a replacement for the now-defunct Pop Plus, which was originally a secondary channel of Pop, but Tiny Pop is aimed at a younger audience. Tiny Pop's second sister channel is called Pop Girl and it was launched on August 6, 2007.

Tiny Pop broadcasts on Sky Digital channel 617 and Virgin Media channel 737. Programmes are introduced through the channels to animated monkeys, known as the Cheeky Monkeys, who talk about cartoons, read out jokes from viewers and show artwork. from the end of June 2009, they were replaced with 3 new hosts, Molly, Leo and Pip. Many programmes in the early hours of the morning are shown without commercial breaks, although late night cartoons generally between 22.30 - 01.30 are replaced by teleshopping. On October 11, 2007, Tiny Pop was launched on Virgin Media, along with its sister channel POP!.
