  • Timm Lane Rosenbach (born October 27, 1966) is a former American football quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). Rosenbach was selected in 1st round of the 1989 NFL Supplemental Draft by the Phoenix Cardinals. After seeing spot duty his rookie year in 1989, Rosenbach started all 16 games in 1990, taking every offensive snap for the Phoenix Cardinals. He started one year for the team before injuries prematurely ended his career. He attempted a comeback with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the New Orleans Saints, but failed. Upon his return to the NFL, he signed with the New Orleans Saints, but had to miss the season because of a ruptured disc in his back. He also missed the 1991 season with the Cardinals because of a knee injury suffered in training camp. Rosenbach finished seventh in the 1988 Heisman Trophy voting. He is a graduate of Washington State University, which has produced several other NFL quarterbacks, including Mark Rypien, Drew Bledsoe, Ryan Leaf, and Jason Gesser. He led the nation in passing efficiency his junior year, and skipped his senior year to enter the NFL draft. Rosenbach was the quarterbacks coach at Washington State from 2003-2007. He was hired February 2012 as the offensive coordinator and Quarterback Coach for the Montana Grizzlies football team at the University of Montana. Timm is married to former professional volleyball player Kim Exner. Kim and Timm had their first child, a girl named Reece Tammy, on Feb. 6, 2007.
