Richard Timothy "Tim" Kring (born July 9, 1957) is an American screenwriter and television producer, best known for his creation of the television series Strange World, Crossing Jordan, and Heroes. Kring is Jewish. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 1983. He got his start as a screenwriter writing for the TV show Knight Rider.
