Tibbermore is a small village situated about 4 miles west of Perth, Scotland. Its parish extends to Ruthven; however, the church building is now only used occasionally for weddings and funerals. Previously known as Tippermuir, it was the site of a not inconsiderable battle between the Duke of Montrose and an army of Covenanters. The church building is in a poor state of repair, however, restoration is being considered.
