Three, Then Four (also known as "3... 4") is the first independently released EP by singer-songwriter Dave Barnes. The EP was produced by Barnes himself. All five of its songs feature Barnes singing and playing guitar with no additional accompaniment. Two of its songs, "Grace's Amazing Hands" and "Nothing Fancy," were both re-recorded with a full band for Barnes' follow up, his first full length studio album Brother, Bring The Sun.

Two of its songs, "Grace's Amazing Hands" and "Nothing Fancy," were both re-recorded with a full band for Barnes' follow up, his first full length studio album Brother, Bring The Sun. Noteworthy is that the cover of the album does not actually have the literal title of the album, however it does visually have the numerals "3" and "4" in sequence, photographed to Barnes' side, indicative of the album's title.
