They achieved their biggest hits with Why Won't You Give Me Your Love? and Valerie, both taken from their second studio album Tired of Hanging Around in 2006.   • The Zutons is een vijfkoppige indie-rockband uit Liverpool, Engeland. The Zutons zijn in 2001 in Liverpool opgericht. De naam "Zutons" komt van de gitarist van "The Magic Band", Zoot Horn (of "Zuton") Rollo. Oorspronkelijk hadden The Zutons vier bandleden, maar Abi Harding deed een paar keer mee met een optreden. Ze speelde simpele saxofoonstukken en was al gauw populair bij het publiek. De andere bandleden vonden de saxofoon ook een verrijking en Harding werd al snel een bandlid. De eerste CD die The Zutons uitbrachten was "Devil's Deal". Het album werd in 2002 uitgebracht en bevatte drie nummers. In 2003 brachten ze "Creepin' An' A Crawlin'" uit een daarna de single "Haunts Me" . Het album "Who Killed...... The Zutons?" werd in april 2004 uitgebracht en kwam op de dertiende plaats in de Britse albumlijst terecht. Een jaar later kwam het album opnieuw de albumlijst binnen en belandde toen op de negende plaats. Het album "Tired Of Hanging Around" kwam uit op 17 april 2006 en dit album haalde de tweede plaats in de Britse albumlijst. De single "Valerie" werd zelfs nog een succes in Nederland. Por ter seus integrantes da mesma cidade e dividir selo e produtor, o grupo tem sido comparado ao The Coral.
