The Renaissance is the second studio album by American hip hop musician Q-Tip, released November 4, 2008 on Universal Motown Records in the United States. Officially a follow-up to his debut solo album Amplified (1999), it was recorded after Q-Tip's Kamaal/The Abstract was originally shelved in 2002 by his former label Arista Records. The Renaissance was entirely produced by Q-Tip with the exception of "Move", which was produced by hip hop producer J Dilla.
