In 2008, they had Foals, MGMT, Black Kids, Friendly Fires, Late Of The Pier and Noah and the Whale on the cover before any other UK publication. The current editor is Niall Doherty, who took over the role from previous editor Will Kinsman in July. Kinsman announced his departure in the July issue of the magazine and named Doherty as his successor (prior to Kinsman's departure, Doherty was the deputy editor).
