The Conscious Daughters (TCD) are a female rap duo, consisting of members Special One and CMG, out of Northern California's Bay Area. The duo went on to complete a cross-country tour and sell over 300,000 copies of their Ear to the Street debut album. The album released three singles and three music videos. Their second album, Gamers, sold over 200,000 copies with help of the nationally recognized single "Gamers". In 2007, Nas released the track "Where Are They Now (West Coast Remix)" which features West Coast veterans Breeze, Kam, King Tee, Candyman, Threat, Ice-T, Sir Mix-A-Lot and the Conscious Daughters. TCD's third album The Nutcracker Suite, with guests Kurupt, Roscoe, Yukmouth, Spice 1, Suga T, Mystic, Cougnut and Sacramento producer Rick Rock, was scheduled to be released mid-2007 on Guerilla Funk Records but was released on Feburuary 10, 2009.
