Les deux sociétés sont tchèques. Le manuel français du jeu est donc erroné car il indique Unknown Identity comme développeur et Future Games comme producteur. Cette erreur a été à l'origine de nombreuses confusions sur Internet et pour les journalistes. Le titre original en tchèque est Posel Smrti (le Messager de la Mort). En France, le jeu a été édité par Micro Application. Dès le début du développement du jeu, Future Games souhaitait vendre ce jeu à l'international (ce qui était alors nouveau pour cette jeune société). Toutefois, les différentes traductions sont sorties parfois plus d'un an après la sortie tchèque du jeu.
