Gordon Lee "Tex" Beneke (February 12, 1914 – May 30, 2000) was an American saxophonist, singer, and bandleader. His career is a history of associations with bandleader Glenn Miller and former musicians and singers who worked with Miller. His band is also associated with the careers of Eydie Gorme and Ronnie Deauville.

Detta TV-program sändes senare över hela världen, även i sovjetisk TV, dubbat till ryska språket. Han har även turnerat flera gånger i Sverige. Vid sitt sista Stockholmsbesök och spelning på Stockholms konserthus 1991, blev han speciellt avtackad för lång och trogen tjänst inom den amerikanska musik- och nöjesindustrin av den dåvarande USA-ambassadören i Stockholm, Charles Redman.
