Theodore George Karras, Jr. is a former American football defensive tackle in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at Northwestern University. His father, Theodore Karras, played for the Chicago Bears in the 1960s and his uncles, Alex Karras for the Detroit Lions and Lou Karras for the Washington Redskins. After his playing days, he was a stockbroker. He hated the corporate life and decided to become a coach.

After his playing days, he was a stockbroker. He hated the corporate life and decided to become a coach. He was an assistant coach for Minnesota, Lake Forest College, and one of the defensive line coaches for St. Francis College Joliet. He then, was named the head coach for Andrean High School and took Andreans team to the state championship where they lost against Bishop Chatard High School. Next, Karras was a coach for St. Xavier University in Chicago and helped emass an annual playoff team. After four years at St. Xavier, Karras moved to Terre Haute, Indiana, to coach the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Engineers. In 2007, Karras took the job coaching the inaugural Marian College NAIA football team in Indianapolis, Indiana.
