Taylor Knox (born May 15, 1971) is an American professional surfer. He is competing on the ASP World Tour. Knox began surfing at 8 years and at 15 had to undergo an operation due to an injury while skating. He competed in national competitions in the NSSA. In 1990, he participated in the Surfing World Amateur Championships (Amateur World Championship) in Japan. Knox finished fourth, and a young Kelly Slater finished fifth.
