- Tammy MacIntosh is an Australian actress who currently plays the role of Dr. Charlotte Beaumont in TV medical drama, All Saints. MacIntosh was well received by Australia's lesbian community when she took up the role of Dr Beaumont, as she had relationships with women on the show, and became somewhat of a lesbian icon as a result. However this changed when Dr Beaumont started a relationship with a male doctor, played by Peter Phelps, and her lesbian followers were somewhat dismayed by this change of sexuality. MacIntosh grew up in Perth, Australia. MacIntosh has a wealth of previous acting experience, with an extensive list of TV credits including Police Rescue, The Flying Doctors, Something in the Air, Grass Roots, Stingers, State Coroner, Good Guys Bad Guys, Wildside, McLeod's Daughters, G.P. , The Feds III and Chances. She also played a main character in the first season of the BBC show, Jeopardy (BBC TV series). Before joining All Saints, she played the character of Jool on Farscape. She was also a well-known face in her regular role of Kathy in Police Rescue. Macintosh's film and theatre credits include Police Rescue: The Movie, the Melbourne Theatre Company's Shark Fin Soup, the Sydney Theatre Company's Private Lives, and the Ensemble Theatre's Blinded By The Sun. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, mountain biking and any kind of watersport. MacIntosh is married to Mark Yates. The couple have a son, Benjamin.
