Data services include fiscal and student data statewide for Ohio's school districts. Beyond these core services, TRECA provides additional services to member schools and contracted institutions. A majority of educational and instructional services and outreach activities provided by TRECA, are facilitated by TRECA Instructional Services (TIS) and are related to primarily to the following three divisions of TIS: TRECA Digital Academy (TDA); TRECA Professional Development (TRECA PD); and Learning Without Limits (LWL) - A TRECA Academy. Established in 2001, TRECA Digital Academy (TDA - headquartered in Marion, Ohio an online public school for Ohio students in grades K-12, provides instruction and curriculum that meets all Ohio achievement standards. TDA instructors are required to be licensed and certified by the State of Ohio; educators provide student-centered and personalized instruction that fosters a comprehensive and interactive learning experience. The TDA customized and flexibility one learning environment is "free" to any student that is a resident of the State of Ohio. As of the 2009-2010 school year, TDA had a total full- and part-time student enrollment of approximately 3,000 K-12 students, from across the state. The TRECA Professional Development division of TIS, functions as the instructional as well as ongoing education and technology integration support mechanism for both TRECA and its consortium schools and educational partners. TRECA PD staff provide innovative and tailored training programs that meet the changing needs of educators and educational staff. The primary focus of the TRECA PD training programs is technology integration in education or learning environments, and to leverage existing capacities to enhance student learning experiences. TRECA PD provides on-site face-to-face ongoing or embedded PD, online/hybrid refresher modules, or in-service presentations that are adapted to the needs of school districts and educators' individual needs. Established during the 2010-2011 school year, Learning Without Limits - A TRECA Academy, is a learning experience for Ohio students in grades 9-12 that reside in Franklin County and in the surrounding counties. This alternative learning experience builds upon students' passions while focusing on Ohio academic requirement completion. LWL is designed to fit the changing needs of students that require customized learning opportunities to fit their individual passions and learning objectives. Specifically, LWL has been development to meet the educational needs of students that are focused on "extra-curricular" opportunities and allows the student to maintain their busy life schedule without sacrificing their education. LWL is a public school and is "free" to any student that resides in and around Franklin County, Ohio.
