TAG Recordings was an imprint of Atlantic Records started in 1996. The label handled indie rock artists, such as Fountains of Wayne and Jawbox. Due to poor sales of the latter band's self-titled album, the label was shut down and Fountains of Wayne was transferred to Atlantic, on which they released Utopia Parkway. The TAG Records name is now owned by Jermaine Dupri and is sponsored by Procter & Gamble's TAG Body Spray.
