Sutton Coldfield is a town in the City of Birmingham, in the West Midlands of England. Sutton (as it is often abbreviated to) is located about 8 miles (13 km) from central Birmingham, in the northeast of the city, with a population of 105,452 recorded in the 2001 census. It forms part of the West Midlands conurbation. Until the Local Government Act 1972 came into force in 1974, Sutton Coldfield was a municipal borough in its own right and part of Warwickshire, with the title of Royal Town.

Sutton Coldfield gilt traditionell als eine der wohlhabendsten Wohngegenden der West Midlands, wie sich an Villen wie Little Aston Park oder dem Four Oaks Estate zeigt. König Heinrich VIII. verlieh 1528 Sutton Coldfield den offiziellen Titel einer Royal Town. Erst 1885 änderte sich der Status in dem eines Municipal Borough, wobei der alte Titel weiterhin in Verwendung blieb. Sehenswert ist vor allem der Sutton Park, mit knapp 10 km² Europas größter Stadtpark. Die Stadt ist Heimat des Fußballclubs Sutton Coldfield F.C.
