Steve Sloan is a former All-American collegiate quarterback, head coach, and athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach for Vanderbilt, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, and Duke. He also served as the athletic director for Alabama, North Texas, Central Florida, and UT-Chattanooga before his retirement from football in 2006. In 2000, Sloan was inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.
