There, he worked as an engineer, producer, guitarist, keyboardist and bassist on various projects, including Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Grace Jones, Act, Betsy Cook and Propaganda. In Great Britain it is very desirable to work with Trevor Horn, and the importance of this experience to Lipson's career cannot be overstated, though he has successfully distinguished himself apart from Horn. In more recent years, he has produced artists including Ronan Keating, Geri Halliwell, Daniel Bedingfield, Gareth Gates, Rachel Stevens, S Club 7 and Will Young. Lipson most recently produced two tracks for 2007 American Idol winner Jordin Sparks' eponymous debut and is currently recording an album of original material along with Trevor Horn, Chris Braide and Lol Crème as The Producers.
