- The Sorbian alphabet is based on the Latin alphabet but uses diacritics such as the acute accent and the caron, making it similar to the Czech and Polish alphabets. The standard character encoding for the Sorbian alphabet is ISO 8859-2 (Latin-2). The alphabet is used for the Sorbian languages, although some letters are used in only one of the two languages. An earlier version of the Lower Sorbian alphabet included the use of the letters b́, ṕ, ḿ, and ẃ to indicate palatalized labials. These have been replaced by bj, mj, pj and wj. Sorbian orthography also includes two digraphs: The digraph ch follows h in alphabetical order.

L'alfabeto è utilizzato da entrambe le lingue lusaziane, sebbene alcuni segni siano presenti solo in una delle due lingue.
- Alfabet dolnołużycki – alfabet oparty na alfabecie łacińskim, służący do zapisu języka dolnołużyckiego. Składa się z następujących liter: a, b, c, č, ć, d, e, ě, f, g, h, ch, i, j, k, ł, l, m, n, ń, o, p, r, ŕ, s, š, t, u, w, y, z, ž, ź. W ortografii dolnołużyckiej występuje także znak ó, który nie ma nic wspólnego z wymową polskiego ó. Znak ten oznacza, że w zależności od regionu ó wymawia się jak polskie o, e lub y. Nie jest on literą dolnołużyckiego alfabetu.
