In letzter Zeit erlangte auch der Kabarettist Olaf Schubert Bekanntheit als Pullunderträger. Auch die Musikgruppe Liquido war bekannt dafür, stets mit Pullunder aufzutreten. Ihre Musik wurde deshalb humorös auch als Pullunder-Pop bezeichnet. Der Pullunder ist ein traditioneller Bestandteil der Bekleidung im Golfsport.
