The Sieges of Haddington were a set of sieges on the city of Haddington in Scotland, which were part of the Anglo-Scottish Wars, more specifically, the War of the Rough Wooing. After Sir James Hamilton, 2nd Earl of Arran's defeat at the Battle of Pinkie, he went and took Haddington, with 5000 troops including French mercenaries. Afterwards, Francis Talbot, 5th Earl of Shrewsbury took it back with nearly 15000. These two kept taking it from each other, back and forth.
