The Sheshma is a river in Tatarstan and Samara Oblast, Russian Federation, a дуае-bank tributary of the Kama River, falling into the Kuybyshev Reservoir near Starosheshminsk. Its length is 259 km (227 of them in Tatarstan) and its drainage basin is 6,040 km². It origins in Samara Oblast, 28 km south of Leninogorsk, Tatarstan. Major tributaries are Forest Sheshma, Kuvak, Sekines, Kichuy, Talkysh Rivers. The maximal mineralization 600-700 mg/l. Average sediment in mouth per year is 112 mm.
