Seth Adam Greisinger(born July 29, 1975 in Kansas City, Kansas) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball. He played in the major leagues from 1998-2005. He played for the Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins, and Atlanta Braves. Greisinger played his college ball at the University of Virginia. He was a non-roster invitee to spring training with the Washington Nationals in 2005; he was sent to the Braves as part of a conditional deal. After being released by the Braves on June 7, 2005, Greisinger played for the Kia Tigers of the KBO in 2006, going 14-12 with a 3.09 ERA in 29 games. Greisinger became the ace for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows in the Central League in Japan for the 2007 season, but Yakult's low budget led to them being forced to release both Greisinger and outfielder Alex Ramirez. Greisinger signed with the Yomiuri Giants for the 2008 season and led the Central League in wins with 17. Greisinger was a member of the 1996 Summer Olympic baseball team, winning a bronze medal.

Danach wurde er 2003 zum Free Agent und stand 2004 bei den Minnesota Twins unter Vertrag, die ihn mit 12 Einsätzen nach Ende der Saison wieder freigaben. Er unterzeichnete einen Vertrag mit den Washington Nationals, die ihn noch vor Saisonbeginn 2005 in einem Spielertausch an die Atlanta Braves weitergaben. Mit nur einem Major-League-Einsatz wurde er im Juni 2005 von den Braves freigegeben. Anschließend wechselte Greisinger in die südkoreanische KBO zu den Kia Tigers, denen er 2006 in 29 Starts (14-12) zur Teilnahme an den Playoffs verhalf. 2007 spielte er als erster Pitcher der Rotation für die japanischen Tōkyō Yakult Swallows, die ihn aber zum Jahresende nach gescheiterten Vertragsverhandlungen ziehen ließen. Durch einen Zweijahresvertrag über geschätzt 500 Millionen Yen (rund 3,75 Millionen Euro) spielt er seither für die Rekordmeister Yomiuri Giants. In Japan führte Greisinger mit 16 Wins 2007 und 17 2008 jeweils die Central League an. 2008 wurde er auch in die Best Nine der Central League aufgenommen.
