The Sella Pass (2244 m) is a high mountain pass in the province of Trento in Italy. It connects the Val Gherdëina in Bolzano-Bozen and Canazei in the Val di Fassa in Trentino. With Pordoi Pass, Gardena Pass, and Campolongo Pass, this pass forms a quadrangle around the Sella group. In the winter, ski trails are prepared that make the entire round in both directions, known as the Sella Ronda.

Canazei in het Valle di Fassa is het beginpunt aan de zuidzijde. Het is een belangrijke wintersportplaats met de nodige ski- en cabineliften. Vanuit het centrum klimt de weg eerst door de bossen omhoog naar Alp Roa waar de weg naar de Pordoipas aftakt. De wanden van het Sellamassief rijzen hier loodrecht ophoog. Vanaf dit punt is het nog vijf kilometer naar de top van de Sellapas. De weg is en blijft goed. De begroeiing wordt dunner en houdt in de buurt van de pashoogte helemaal op. De pas is gelegen op een smalle bergrand, Het uitzicht op het Valle di Fassa en de Marmolada met haar gletsjer is schitterend, maar het zijn de drie pieken van de Sasso Lungo die de meeste aandacht trekken. Vanaf de pashoogte vertrekken er diverse wandeltochten. De afdaling naar het Val Gardena verloopt even gemakellijk als aan de andere zijde. Na zes kilometer takt aan de rechterkant de weg af richting Gardenapas, de weg rechtdoor gaat naar de plaats Selva di Val Gardena dat net als Canazei een belangrijke wintersportplaats is. In de plaats is een school gevestid voor het vervaardigen van houtsnijwerk, een specialiteit van het dal.
