The Screwed Up Click, also known as Soldiers United 4 Cash (S.U.C. ), is an assortment of rappers from Southside Houston started by the late DJ Screw. After appearing on numerous screw tapes and spreading their name throughout southern hip hop, they have become well respected and have earned a proud reputation. Despite the deaths of several members and the incarceration of others, the S.U.C. continues to represent for Houston and remains a strong presence in the southern hip hop scene.

The original members of the S.U.C. include DJ Screw himself, Lil' Keke, Fat Pat, Big Hawk, Big Pokey, Botany Boyz, Big Jut, Big Moe, Z-Ro, Lil' O, Dat Boy Grace, Mr. 3-2, Southside Playaz, Lil' Flip, C-Blount, Wood & E.S.G.. Since then, members have left while others like, Woss Ness (Big Steve, Big Bee, Mista Luv, Rasir X, Devious, 2-Fancy, Boom Dillinger, Vikta Black, Lil' Steve & Mr. Wood), Big Mello, Tow Down, Point Blank and Al-D (DJ Screw's brother) and others have joined. In addition, Lil' Troy, UGK, K-Rino of the South Park Coalition (whom DJ Screw was also a member of), Billy Cook, Devin The Dude & South Park Mexican are considered "Screwed Up Affiliated". 3rd Ward/South Park is the group's place of origin. In 1999 they released the "Block Bleeders" compilation. In addition to this recording, the numerous members have all played a significant role in the hundreds of DJ Screw mixtapes to filter out of Houston during the 1990s.

Het begon allemaal in de jaren negentig met DJ Screw, die zogenaamde 'screw-tapes' maakte waarbij hij bekende nummers van bekende rappers vertraagde en de pitch ervan verlaagde, wat screwed & chopped muziek heet. De bedoeling hiervan was om het effect van het gebruik van 'purple drank' te creëren. De screw-tapes sloegen erg aan in de buurt en later begon het zich uit te breiden en werd steeds populairder in het zuiden van de Verenigde Staten. DJ Screw had rappers nodig voor zijn tapes en zo ontstond de groep Screwed Up Click. Na de dood van DJ Screw was de Screwed Up Click nog niet dood. De rappers gingen allemaal solo en de meesten zijn nu erg succesvol. Ook screwed & chopped muziek is vandaag de dag nog levend en en bijna elke rap cd is in de winkels verkrijgbaar in een screwed & chopped versie.
