Zu letzteren gehört etwa „Sailor's Hornpipe“ oder „Irish Jig“. Diese Tänze sind von der englischen Hornpipe oder dem irischen Jig abgeleitet, wurden aber zu Solotänzen abgewandelt und sehr stark formalisiert.
